Okay, glad I'm not the only one that does this! I've got writing from when I began back when I was 13. I have stories started, unfinished, played with, massaged, etc...one day I'll get to them.

I don't think I have quite as many as 5416 though...grins

I know I'm a little late to this party, but I just read this and have to agree that the support of family and friends, especially those that push us, make us look in the mirror and stand up for what we want, what will make us happy, stand up for our dreams...is an incredible feeling. You are so very blessed, Deanna.

And yes, I love this WordPress site! It's very cool!

Very cool! Wait-- my book translates to "Gallery of Distressing"? LOL. I rarely use the word cunt but when I do I totally OWN that nasty little word... every single letter.

I actually have a sequel half finished for the Penetration Diary but I'm on the fence about it as chicklit really isn't my "thing" at all and I never even really understood where the first book came from- it just sort of poured out of me in weird moments.

All right, popping in late here , but I couldn't resist adding my two cents as I am a German native speaker. Leidenschaft means literally "to cause suffering/trouble/distress". I am no linguist, but I bet it has some prudish, historical background as in "passion which is so overwhelming that it overpowers the pleasure part and results in sufferings" LOL. German publishers ADORE titles with passion, wind, storm, waves, love and tides ... everything that implies great, ergg, passion, and remembers of overflowing, trembling bosoms and superlatives of sensuality ... (at least where romances are concerned).

Secondly, it's been ages since I have read English fiction translated into German, but I wanted to add that Rowohlt is considered to be a very classy, distinctive publisher, specialising on literature and high quality fiction!

AS to the naughty vocabulary. Let me put it this way, the translation of c**t is absolutely atrocious, much much worse in connotation than its English counterpart. The rest is ok and comparable to English.

And last but not least, do you plan any sequels to The Penetration Diaries? I don't usually like chick lit, but this was the first one I graded with an A- :)

PS: (and then I am quiet), I love your new website. Uncluttered, classy and with RSS feed, YEHA!

Hey Deanna,

Long time no speak. Just wanted to drop into your neck of the woods and say hi. By the way, thanks for telling me about Word press. I love it as compared to blogger.

Warm regards,

It's wonderful to have the support of your loved ones when you are trying so hard to reach your goals. My mother could care less about my true dreams she wants me to do what she feels I should be doing. But my guy, he's awesome and I don't know if I'd be able to do it without his support. Between work and getting into shape (God I hate the gym) and taking care of home and the little heathen one year old that likes to turn my computer off at the worst moments, sometimes I wan't to pull out my hair. But the man has my back when I need him and it means so much...ok sorry didn't mean to write a novel on your blog...*talks to much* Going away now. :)
